The 2025 Building Michigan Communities Conference (BMCC) will be held on May 14 & 15 in Lansing, Michigan. With our theme Partners in Progress, we seek to bring exciting opportunities and meaningful experiences for our attendees – which, in 2024, was approximately 1,200 housing financiers and developers, elected and public officials, asset managers, policy makers, and other industry stakeholders. We’re in search of innovative, thought-provoking content in the following formats:

• Pecha Kucha (Japanese for chit-chat) style session, which is several short (i.e., <10 minute) unrelated presentations delivered back-to-back in a 60-minute breakout session. Pecha Kucha allows attendees to be introduced to a variety of topics in a short period of time.
• 60-minute educational session

Proposals should align with one or more of the five topical tracks being offered at BMCC 2025:

1. Asset Management
2. Community and Economic Development
3. Homeownership Finance and Development
4. Preventing and Ending Homelessness
5. Rental Finance and Development

Proposals will be accepted through Friday, October 4, 2024. Notifications will be made by Friday, December 6, 2024.
